Who We Are
St. David’s is a church for people of all races, ethnicities, and ages. All are welcome to attend, and anyone who has been baptized in the Christian faith is welcome to receive Communion at our altar.
Your children are welcome to attend our services with you. Sunday School for preschool and elementary age children meets during the first part of the 10:00 a.m. service, then the children are brought into the church to join their families for communion. Nursery care for infants and toddlers is provided during the 10:00 am. service.
Our culturally diverse parish was formed in 1976. As we have grown, we have become more active in Christian worship and service. Food and supplies are regularly taken to the needy. We have organizations for adults and young people, and devotional societies that meet for prayer and study.
- The Episcopal Church is a Bible Church. We believe the Holy Scriptures to be the word of God and our source of belief and moral standards. The Bible is our lens through which we view and evaluate all other truths. Episcopalians are generally not fundamentalist, but we do take the Scriptures seriously. The entire first half or our service is scripture.
- The Episcopal Church is a catholic church. Catholic means that we adhere to what has been consistently believed and practiced from New Testament times. Our worship and life draw from the rich treasure of nearly two thousand years of Christian experience and discovery. The ancient Creeds, the sacraments, the orders of ministry, the church calendar, and the Book of Common Prayer (which enables us to worship together and not be passive spectators) preserve our link with the historic church founded by Jesus Christ.
- The Episcopal Church is a reformed church. What is distinct about us grew out of the reformation in England in the 16th century. Our emphasis on the scriptures, and the ministry of lay people comes out of this heritage.
St. David’s School provides a fine academic program with an enriched curriculum within a Christian environment for children ages 3 through second grade. Call 793-1272 for information.

“The first time I walked up to the door, people were just so overtly welcoming to me. Then, when I walked into the church, I was amazed by the diversity, with people of different races sitting comfortably together throughout the pews and serving together in the choir and on the altar—it was the way I’d always heard that churches are supposed to be.”
“What keeps me coming back is the welcoming members and the love they pour out to one another. The feeling of family when at church is a rare treasure I am so blessed to have found at St. David’s.”
“As someone who doesn’t have much family support outside of the church, it is really wonderful to feel so connected and recognized by church family.”
“I love and appreciate the safe space for my child to learn and play. The Sunday school curriculum is extraordinary.”
“One of the extra special things I love about this church is that you are able to ask questions openly and honestly.”
“I found the church because they were offering parking during the Wellington Christmas Parade. What attracted me was the energy from the volunteers. Very welcoming, friendly, free of fear or judgement. I felt the Holy Spirit there, so I asked if I could attend a service.”
