WEEKLY MESSAGE – July 7, 2024

WEEKLY MESSAGE – July 7th – Bishop McGregor

Americans call it vacation. Brits call it holiday. What does this mean?
Vacation for Americans is about vacating from work, taking time out to play and do something perhaps adventurous with lots of fun with family and friends. For Brits, it’s a holiday, a ‘holy day,’ when you take time out and set time apart for rest and rejuvenation.
Last week our family took time out to be together in Islamorada, having fun together with my wife, children, grandchildren, and mother-in-law. We had fun in the pool, talking and eating together. This week we are heading up to Northern Georgia for more family fun and where Patsy’s family has gathered for 39 years. So for us, it is part of a holy time, a legacy, that has been passed on from Patsy’s parents, to us, to our children and now to our grandchildren.
