A renewal and community building weekend experience which is then followed by weekly “reunions” with others who have attended Cursillo. Reunions are intended for support and fellowship as one maintains his or her commitment to a spiritual life. Click here to get a copy of the Cursillo Candidate Form.
DOK is an order for women of all ages who desire to follow a rule of life involving prayer, study, and service. This group meets the 2nd Sunday of each month, 8:45 am, in the Mark room.
The ECW is an organization for service and fellowship. They meet the second Friday of the month at 11:00am in the church followed by lunch.
The Brotherhood of St. Andrew is a ministry to Christian men and boys. We have three disciplines: Daily prayer, Regular study, and Service for the spread of Christ’s kingdom. Meetings are 1st Sunday at 9:00 am. A pancake breakfast is held the 3rd Saturday at 9:00am, and we sponsor the Coffee Hour for months with a 5th Sunday.
Men’s and Women's Bible Studies
Bible study is essential to the spiritual life of all Christians. This is an opportunity for men and women to study the Word of God in detail and understand how it is applied to daily life. Each group meets every Wednesday evening at approximately 7:00pm following the 6:30pm Mass. The women meet in the Mark Room and the men meet in the classroom next to the kitchen.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
Prayer Shawls are created for those who are suffering in ways we may know or not know, and who just need to know someone cares about them and has been praying for them with every stitch. As they are finished the Prayer Shawls are blessed, and taken in person to the recipient and with prayer wrapped around their shoulders as angel wings to bring comfort to them in times of loneliness and need.
Guild of the Christ Child
During the first weeks after a St. David’s family brings home a new baby (either by birth or adoption), Guild members deliver a home-cooked meal, a pair of booties hand-knit by members of the St. David’s knitting group, and a card to the home. Details such as directions and food preferences are arranged with the parents before the baby arrives. Guild members also make simple, personalized felt banners for each infant or child baptized at St. David’s. Each banner is displayed throughout the baptismal services and is then presented to the family as a keepsake.
