St. David’s-in-the-Pines

Episcopal Church

St. David’s Sunday School—Ages 3 years thru 8th grade

10:00am- Our Sunday School uses the Episcopal Children’s Curriculum. Classes meet in the Parish Hall, the Mark Room, and the Preschool Classrooms.  Children join their families in the Church at the offertory.

 

Christian Studies

Classes are held at 9:00am for 9th thru 12th grades.

 

St. David’s Youth Group

The Youth Group meets two Sundays each month.  This program is for students in sixth through twelfth grades.

 

Acolytes

Boys and girls at least 10 years of age who assist in the services.  Meetings and parties are held throughout the year.

 

The Confirmation Program for Youth

This program includes study, worship, prayer, and service, with the group meeting in the Fall and Winter.  Dates to be announced.  (Must be at least thirteen years old.)

 

First Communion Class

This class is intended for children Kindergarten age or older and meets in the Spring for four weeks.  The class helps the child understand the parts of the mass, the meaning of Jesus’ presence in the Eucharist and in the Church, and his/her membership within it as baptized Christians.
